1)Recently, a second US carrier was brought into the Persian Gulf Area.
2)Israel has stepped up its rhetoric alongside its secret training camps on the land of Gibralter.
3)Khamenei is said to be dieing any day which is a perfect time to strike at a vulnerable power-grabbing internally unstable government.
4)The US has captured control of the Iranian consulate in Iraq.
5)Bush is mentally retarded.
6)Israel is a power-hungry terrorist death machine
all these point to an imminent attack on Iran.

If not inevitable it is at the very least extremely probable. Sadly we'll probably go into it with the same illusions that we're somehow going to win over the support of the people there by invading their country and destroying their infrastructure.

Three different wars in three different countries for three "different" reasons in five years. Wunderbar!
Alrighty then, China after the 08' olympics? Maybe North Korea? Oh, I know. Argentina. Yeah.

I think they should get a map and randomly start pointing at countires, make up a WMD type claim, and repeat the process until the last one left is the US LOL.

I don't think it will be politically correct for Bush to attack Iran at this point of time. The war in Iraq is becoming very unpopular with the American public and the Congress. Bush hardly has any support for his new troops surge plan. I read today, that he has been warned by the house not to conduct cross-border raids in Iraq because he does not have house approval to engage in hostilities outside of Iraq.
All that should matter to Bush now, is the presidential elections of 2008. He has to improve the situation in Iraq by then, otherwise the republicans will pay a heavy price in the elections. I am pretty sure, the situation in Iraq has revealed how much of a problem insurgency is. He simply cannot stop the militia from killing more American soldiers through covert operations. He can expect a whole lot more resistance if ground troops enter into Iran. It would be a very nasty and dangerous gamble and he'd probably have no support back home. The house may even move to impeach him and it would be a political disaster for the republicans.
I'm sure his fingers are itching to to press the war button on Iran. But his advisers at least, must have a clear head to realize how big this gamble will be.

Yep, more to come.
Instead of dialogue, we're going to escalate it. Doesn't he know the Iranians are fed up with admidinijad too? They had an election quite like ours where reformists have been making very good come-backs. The time for a military solution is over. Too little, too late, they should have done it like world war II, loosened up rules of engagement, and finished the job. We should be talking with syria, and iran. Promise them we won't attack them if they stop letting foreign fighters across their borders.

Iran talking shit is alot differnt the the USA & Israel actually doing it. And most of Irans rhetoric over the past years has been in a reaction to the USA & Israels military force in the middle east by invading soveign nations, which happen to be Irans neighbors & allies. So can u really blame em.? If Iran made a move so much as dropping thier exess sewage on one of thier neighbors, Bush & Co would be calling for war & a regime change in Iran.

I fear that the so called Iran Military will get so owned by the US. and that the war will be decided by a few insurgents as the US like to call them

I have said this before and ill say this again
1) Ahmadinejad does not call for Israels destruction as the media portrays it. Im reallly really really not surprised this is coming out of your mouth.
Ahmadinejad has never said he wants to attack and invade and destroy the country of israel, he says the zionist REGIME must be wiped off the map.. just like the Soviet REGIME was wiped off the map.
I understand Farsi, and i have never heard him directly say anything that the western media has translated for themselves to set an agenda.
2)DO you think Ahmadinejad has real power in Iran???? Do you know what his position holds??? Do you think he has teh power to push the button?
Please study how power is delegated in Iran before assuming the president is the supreme leader.
Before you swallow all the cum that spews out of CNN's mouth, you should choose which cock to suck more carefully.

I dont think people should underestimate the Iranian military.
It may not be as powerful as Israels and the US's, but im sure if they were attacked, they could defend themselves far more efficiently than Iraq.
