yes! it's been a while since i have posted something up here
but now i have made something new.
it's a type of remix, i borrowed elements from 2 tracks,
A. the melody from 'moonman - galaxia'
B. some of the vocals from 'lustral - everytime'
also the bassline sounds a lot like the one in armin's 'clear blue moon', but i actually used that same pattern before i heard that track! lol, i added the strange bass break he used in the song though to mine, it sounds cool
but the end result is very different to either of the tracks so please check it out and let me know what you think!
I dunno why I'm in the thread title but I clicked it!
downloading now
[edit] ok, heard it out now, it's a decent track, the vocals really finish it off. Nice 303-ish bassline. Only thing I can bitch at is maybe the drums are a bit simple (nice clap sounds tho....mind sharing? )

lol yes possibly,
problem is the bass is sort of technical in terms of the effects i used and that its not just one OSC its 3 seperate patterns all playing in sequence
the volumes also have to be right, so the only way i could do it is to somehow delete everything in the entire song back to just the bassline! (that would take me a while)
here's sorta how i did it:
go into channel presets and select the '3x OSC' menu
select short square and put that on a channel
if i was to draw the pattern it would look something like this
x'.'x.'.x'.'x.'.
x represents the kick
(hope you can make sense out of that)
the 2 other channels i can't actually remember what patch i used
i modified them a lot and changed the name
to get that metally sound i ran one of the OSC's with a basic 3 step arpeggio
and the other one was just the icing on the cake
yes, it IS complicated, just experiment with everything and you will find something cool
Hey Dave, great trak as usual.
I dunno but I think I might have a sample of one of yours
on me 'homepage'.
If it is, I hope ya don't mind?
Keep up the great work.
