I really like this... THe major key trance like this is not often heard, and it's refreshing at the moment for myself.

The kick has good floor, the bassline is one of those light ones that just helps enhance the chord structure instead of destablizing the mix like so many amatuers do. When the chord changes come into the horizon, I cannot help by admit that this has alot of class. This reminds me of my oldschool trance-listening days.

Good breakdown... you didn't overdo the supersaw element here --bravo! The additional melodic elements really just seal the deal on this track. This is a wonderful track, well realized and polished.

Good emotions. This track takes me back to days when life was more isolated yet enriching at the same time... something personal, even...

8.9/10! I'd purchase this track and have it on my higher playlists.

Actually... this track was so lush that I hit play again!! That's a first from this forum in a while...

Whatever happened to your tune 'Paradise'? I was asked to do a remix one day, but it appears it got canceled or something... Kinda liked that one too.

I personally don't think it sounds too compressed for my listening enjoyment. I even enjoyed this in my car. However, if you wanted to get this track mastered, it just might simply be too compressed (you wanna leave the master bus alone).

There are a few things about the levels that I find questionable. The kick seems a tad loud in comparison to the bass -- not by much, but I think this could use just a little more bass. I see what you are trying to do with the bass, you really don't want to have the bass draw too much attention to itself -- but you might want to help give it some more floor to share some of the bass-freq spotlight with the kick. However, if you try to balance out the kick and bass like I suggested, then you might find that the other elements sound too quiet. That's when I suggest being even more vigilant and attempt to vigorously EQ the elements.

However, if the kick is the loudest element, and the bass is less than 4-5db quieter than the kick and the other elements have more presence than the bass -- that might be the paradigm you are looking for. Kick-melodic parts-bass-pads in order of leveling. You already have that estabilished, but I think that the kick does seem to overexert itself.

The final melodic saw-lead element that is introduced with the breakdown could be more stereo-ized and touch the middle frequencies a little more. Actually, I think that you could touch on the stereo width in general to polish and shine this track up just a little more.

B_man, hey, thanks again for your detailed input. It was very helpful. I will see what slight adjustments i can make. Maybe after I get some nice headphones to monitor with. But how do I enhance the stereo width?

Do you mean that I should 'pan' elements in a certain way to make things sound more stereo?

Sometimes I use 2 sounds and pan them L and R to get more stereo, is that what you mean?

Or do you mean I should add a stereo effect in Wavlab after I mix it down?
