Nice track man, I like the undertones and the transitions. Was bobbing away listening to it.
You should start to compile a album...you're starting to have enough tracks for it and the quality is certainly right.

Not trying to be nasty, but I thought this was quite amateurish; I was surprised after seeing all the good comments.
I didn't find the melodies engaging at all, thought they were quite simple, and though it's a matter of opinion, I didn't like any of the synths much.
Agree with the others though, the percs are ace, though I think they could use some more mid, they are quite swishy and don't have much depth.
Finally, I wouldn't call this techno at all. A least not in the detroit sense. Hard techno perhaps (as differentiated from hardcore techno/gabba)?

Your piece has some phat hats, albeit a bassline that is somewhat trancy! Techno not having an off-beat bassline is more an exception than a rule, so I'll not nit-pick there.
All in all, it's a spaz-tastic production with acid twerks and beakers that seem both hard as nails and also carrying that robotic groove dominate in techno. The reso-synth riff was definately elevated when the last pad dominated the piece.
Keep up the good work. |
Sweet rythmic review !! thanks for the kind review. ive got to change the bassline just a little bit, glad you liked it mate! =)
