cheers for reply,, I have found the inserts bit on the mixer but I still only get a list of built in ones starting from Apache5 to Transformer, I've tried the same with an Audio track and I get all my Waves plug-ins and everthing else..

ahhhh, thank you so much.. I was doing all that but going to the inserts bit on the Midi01 track in the mixer, didn't notice it had made a seperate track at the side of it, lol, I'm used to Ableton where I could just drop it on the Midi track..Guess it will take some apapting..

I'm using Cubase 4.1 and it definitely still has separate MIDI and audio tracks. But it's no problem, you can group them in any way that suits you. Cubase is great for arranging things into folders/ groups and maintaining an overview.
