Ever wonder why he was assasinated? Probably because he had morals even though he was fairly promiscous while married.

A great speech? Yes. A great president? No. For better or for worse, an untimely death always seems to leave history with a better remembrance of an individual.

Bay of Pigs, Vietnam, Iraq, infamous "social" activity...besides his ability to talk (and a progressive stance on Civil Rights, at least towards the end), I fail to see what made him a great president.

Because he was against the establisment that he warned about the very same establisment that is now the ultimate power.
