reviewing while listening, nice kick in intro.. i like that bassline man!! pads give that unique atmosphere.. builds up nicely. i think the intro of the background melody could be a bit louder.. at first i thought this was gonna be a tech style of tune.. but i really like this. you've really improved a lot mate and this track can tell that! lovely buildup nice melodies got nothing really to complain man.. would love to see a tune of yours to appear on a new isos album sorry for not leaving a review before the pm mate.

greetz,

Rinster.

don't like the start fx/crash.....is that a dorumalaia sample????

bassline is ok, but does not fit that well....i like the pads though.....nice atmosphere, good job on that.

the melody that plays around 1.30-2.00 .... hmmm not bad but not great either...is just doesn't go anywhere

the synths you used are ok and the mixdown is good too but the track just doesn't do anything for me.

....ah that end fx, just as bad as the start one.

thank you for sharing

keep it up

I also like this piece. The bassline is unorthadox, and feels more like a hybrid trance with tech elements. The pads swirl and the synths dart here and there like this is some cyberpunk escapade or cat-mouse game (cinematic imagery... please excuse me). The guitar/piano bit during the breakdown really didn't fit at first, but the mood changed dramatically for me.

I like the more complex layers after the break. I felt them, but I have to admit that the change of direction this piece took for me wasn't everything that I expected. It felt like a crossover organic-ibiza ambience laid over a techy drum&bass element and the merge was unique+fun in addition to being a little head-scratching.

Your bassline would be ace in a breakbeat... for some reason I can picture it in some cinematic break with alternating rythmic structures. YOu could get the sound to be more sci-fi, ethereal, creepy or jarre-like and this piece would really be kicking. Just my opinion. Otherwise, I appreciate this track for what it's worth and refuse to say that it did nothing for me (it did something, it was just a peculiar merge of moods that was slightly conterdictory in the imagery that it evoked)... It was a good production and an interesting twist.

Haha what can i say i have mood swings lol.

Interesting point though. I seem to do that with alot of my stuff. I think i try and mix genres, i dont know how to keep the mood i guess. I think im going to mess around with it some more, see what happens.

Thanks for listening! I think i had an epiphany!

\0/ liking this... solid production... although i think you can tweak the bass more so that it is less static.... play with velocities and LFO's

really nice flowing melodies, good feelings..! yes we have a winner here

nice piano going there....

this is what i suggest; you are making music for the ears... try to make it more for the legs and you hvae a great piece of art!!

cheers and keep on groovin mate

Nice swirly pads, not too keen on the bassline instrument. Nice mixdown. Some of the layered bits and pieces that come in later are good. Not my cup of tea but really good if you're into that sort of thing.
