So last night after seeing snoop's new video I went looking to see what a talkbox actually costs, and they're like $70 at least iirc, so yeah. Fuck that. Upon more looking though I found a tutorial on how to build one, as its actually incredibly simple how they work (though I won't get into that here). Anyways, I made one today out of an old computer speaker and literally $5 worth of parts. It basically looks like a shoebox filled with towel scraps, with a tube sticking out of the top and a cord coming out of the side.

Still hard as fuck to get the hang of, but holy shit is this cool.



And now I can accurately sing along with Daft Punk - Around The World
