Hey guys, I'm looking for some info and hopefully someone can help me! Some of my friends and I were thinking about making the trek from Kingston to Toronto for NYE. (Nooo, Montreal is not an option unfortunately) I'm interested in finding out what kind of music will be played at This is London. I'm assuming some type of house, but would just like to find out for sure. It says the theme is Brazil, but I'm just curious who is there and what will be played, and is it worth driving 3 hours for.

If it doesn't say who the DJ is, expect your typical mix of top 40 and some mainstream house. I guess with a brazilian flavor?

Hip Hop, Rock and House.

If you're looking for a BIG party with a good mix of people. Guv is the choice on NYE.

something smaller.. I would say go with Footwork.


that's assuming you want to stick to house/techno kind of events.

It is going to be a Club Rio night, food - tapas, festive drinks (not idea what kind of drinks are Brazilian but there will be some special drinks), lots of bright colourful decorations. I expect it to be much more similar to a Saturday night - bit older crowd and music-wise, a little bit of everything which doesn't leave a lot of time for house.
