I think its time we approached MTV Canada and Much music about giving the Trance/Euro Dance/Electronica videos a place to be played in Canada.

Since I moved back from Iceland I have been shocked at the total lack of trance music videos in Canada.

I am going to create a petition that we can eventually bring to MTV Canada and Much Music to finally get us a weekly show dedicated to trance videos, and hopefully videos of DJ sets as well.

Yea that's exactly what we need now, MuchMusic and MTV to take an already over-commercialized style, wrap it up all consumer friendly and serve it up during 'trance power-hour'. Thanks but no thanks. I think Electric Circus is already enough of an insult to electronic music.

If you want to hear good music, go support your local club ... don't sit on the couch watching TV, helping some faceless global corporation bastardize everything they hope to make some money off.

electric circus is like pop circus now...they barely play any form of electronic music. they play a lotta top 40 and hiphop stuff. disappointing.

Yeah, I'm definetely all about keeping the music underground, i love it when I'm listening to my discman at school or something and people hear and they're like what's that?? And then i get to say whatever dj it is, stimulant dj's or superfast oz or andy farley or whatever the hell it is that I'm listening to and i put it to a good part right before the climax and they listen and they're just like holeeeyyyyyy shit, that's amazing, what is it? And then i get to say nah, you've probably never heard of them, but it's killer music eh...
