If it's a pair of regular headphones, I heard good things about the Sennheiser. You can get a decent pair for about 60 bucks I think.

I heard the Sony V6 is a good pair, for around $70

Very good pair. I use them myself actually. If you can spend an extra 10.00, go for that.

these will not be used for DJing, but for the computer, TV, listening to CDs and her ipod.

she is not a fan of in the ear style earphones, so I think one of those Sonys will work well.
