Montane (Trance / Prog Trance) 140BPM J00F style

http://www.myspace.com/thesixthofficial

The track is called montane

I made it with thoughts of being at a huge festival late at night. I hope i have managed to capture that big room sound.

not really my style, but ill give my few cents.

Percs sound good
The arp that comes in sounds like it could be a bit bigger and/or acidic.
omg change that FM8 preset! ambient mallet iirc :P
build up is good.
huh... ok that wasn't a build up.

Well, the track was ok. If i were going to change one thing with the track it would be that coming out of the break. Just doesn't seem right fading the track back in, its hard to know where the breakdown ends.

Cheers, keep it up!
Alex

Thanks for checking it out Alex.

The tracks idea is to echo back to the old 1999 broadcasts i would hear on radio one from lotherton hall and homelands etc

I wanted to have something that reminded me of that time, something that encapsulated the energy of standing in a tent in some field at 2am, something that i could imagine pete tong speaking over

I think if you can imagine that while listening, you may see where the ideas and sounds came from (including why i stuck with the FM8 preset )
