[Review] NYE 2008 Afterhours @ Love
Sorry for the late review team, I went to sleep yesterday at noon, and didn't get up until this morning for work.
So I was able to get out of work and go to this, yay! Went to 2 other parties first, one at a friend's house and one at Kala's (KayKay) house. So in hindsight... I was drinking for close to 14 hours. Good times  Took a 2:30 train into the city and got to Love a little before 4. They graciously offered me the opportunity to pay $50 to go in then, but I declined.
Got inside and Tae was playing in the front room. Tae, you were right, you did play some crazy shit I loved it! Not sure who was playing in the back room, but they were excellent as well. The only bad news bears thing about the evening was that they wouldn't give us open bar when we got there. I have no issue with the staff themselves, I'm sure they were following instructions from someone up above. But I was told straight to my face, while holding a flyer that says "OPEN WELL BAR 4AM - 5 AM!!!", that it was a misprint. Now how do you misprint that on a billion flyers that were handed out all over the city? FTW They finally did open beer bar for like a half hour until 5:30, but it was still effed up that they didn't do it right in the first place.
Other than that, everything was perfect! I was hard pressed for the rest of the evening to choose between the front and back rooms. Again I wish I was better with the track ids, but they were playing some really good stuff in the back. I wandered into the front for a bit and someone was playing Pryda - Muranyi. Love that song! After a while Zack and some other guy were switching back and forth in the front and it was awesome!
Oh yea, and every guido from all of Jersey hit on me and bought me drinks. It was hilarious/slightly scary

Hate to be so harsh but this shit is just played out not to mention dangerous!......learn how to dance for real and save the strings for the warehouse raves. That being said.....I hate to be the next kid that hits me with one of these things......the first one almost didn't make it out alive!
ok what ever man but i shorten the string so it doesnt hit people and i only string when i feel the music and i evey body is lucky that i didnt pull out the extra long hockey skate laces but u dont have the right to give me shit about what im into
