Dude if I were you I would definately not try acid. I've heard and seen so many horror stories from friends that are just flat out scary. Acid is one of the drugs that I have nevered tried or never will despite how people say how great it is.

But remember if you do decide to try it, MODERATION is the key!!!!

I remember not too long ago I was talking to a friend and all of a sudden he started "tripping" out like crazy for no apparent reason. He went absolutely crazy and was hallucinating wildly, and I had no idea what was going on. It later dawned on me that he was having an "acid flashback" . This episode lasted nearly an hour and it wasn't his first time, but it was the first time I've ever witnessed it. Here's the scary part............HE HASN'T TOUCHED ANY FORM OF DRUGS FOR OVER 3-4 YEARS!!!!! He's been clean all these years but he was once a very heavy acid user.
It was pretty scary as I had no clue what was going on. That's why he's so against me taking any form of drugs (except weed). So yeah, it does make me think twice about what you put into your body. Sometimes it's just not worth it.

So when people tell you that drugs don't have any long term psycological effects, that's bullshit. The idea that you can have a flashback after so many years of staying sober is really intriguing to me (as well as frightening). If anyone knows any more about flashbacks please post here as well.

Also, another friend who I work with told me how his friend who has always been a "good-girl" decided to try acid for the first time. So she went out and bought some acid from friends at a house party and decided to go home and try it out. She knew nothing about acid and after taking it, thought she was so cool and called her best friend on the phone. Her best friend was happy that she tried it but just to make sure, she asked her how much she took. She was like I took "the whole vile." Her best friend was like ......(long silence).........."umm......ok, hang up the phone now k? I'm coming over to your house right now so wait for me." She then called her friend's brother to make sure she doesn't leave and to lock her in her room. Her brother was like "what's going on?"
Anyways, I don't want to write what happened to her next. It's really heartbreaking. But she's still in a mental ward today.



You hear so many different stories from different people and I'm sure you've heard of stories like these from friends. Acid is one of the drugs I would never try but if you're going to do it, learn as much as you can and not just ask the people that are biased to the subject. Be careful, educate yourself and if you're going to do it, be responsible.

I think that Trancewave's story is absolutely frightening and is the perfect example of why we need to be educated drug users if we choose to use at all.

That being said, I took acid one time, and it is my absolute favorite drug.

If you are going to drop acid, be sure that you are very emotionally stable and not hiding anything from yourself mentally. Try to take liquid or gelcaps because they are cleaner than paper. Know your source (I understand that that one is hard). Trip with someone who has done acid before. Choose a comfortable environment.

I have a lot more opinions about this, but the bottom line is, do it if you are comfortable. I loved it but not everyone does.

acid hmmm.... its true that awful things can happen if u have a bad trip or think u can fly, but then again u may have sumthing wonderful or even a life changing trip, that makes u look at things a different way. but one things this, no matter how many times u have took acid, u still always risk having a bad trip and going mental and jumpoing off a cbridge or whatever, but if theres say a group of friends, preferabley one of two not on acid u will be ok! as for the long term affects i know nothing of them...
