VERY BAD Mixer Problem
I'm pretty worried as I'm typing this; it seems like there is a problem with one of my phono channels. Here's roughly what's wrong: I switch on everything, start to mix a while. Everything's prefect. After, say 10 minutes, my left channel will start to give hissing noises and the bass will start to sound VERY distorted (it's not because of the earthing, I've already checked that). It's weird because everything will be fine and the problem will only surface after around 10 minutes. Then the bass distortion will persist until I switch off the mixer and switch it back on again after some time. I have isolated the problem and the bass distortion is not because of my left turntable (I plugged my left turntable to another channel and it sounded fine).
What's wrong with my mixer? Can a single channel malfunction like what I have just described?
