If anyone deserves the EM stage, it's Hernan. His sets are so timeless, and he's long overdue for an EM, and hopefully this gets him a GU gig.

Oddly enough, I thought this was his first EM too, but when I checked his site it said:

"Feb 16 on BBC Radio 1, Hernan will do the Essential mix for the third time."

what are the other 2 mixes that he did?

I could have sworn I had a Hernan EM from like 2002?

yup. just did a google search and its showing two previous essential mixes by hernan... august 25, 2002 and april 17, 2005
