Drinking and driving
A person I'm close to has a terrible habit of drinking and driving.
Her poison is vodka and according to what she says, after drinking Smirnoff she can drive, but Gilbey's messes her up.
NOTE: She drinks neat glasses (NOT shots), without any mixer, just ice and lemon. She can consume anywhere between half a bottle to 3/4ths all by herself.
Me and countless other people have tried to explain to her, that irrespective of what alcohol you consume, it drastically slows down your reaction time amongst other motor functions and is downright stupidity to drive thereafter.
Bear in mind that DUI laws in Thailand are not that strict of this stage.
There's plenty of reckless drunk driving around despite the breathalyzer tests & hefty fines and you hear of fatalities everyday.
Is there anyway to knock some sense into her?
