Best Graphic Novels out there?

It started couple years ago w/ the impending release of 300 that I bought my first graphic novel w/ Frank Miller's 300. That kicked a lot of ass. Then awhile later, I bought Ronin, also by Miller, not as good as 300 but enjoyable. I recently bought Wanted, by Mark Millar, havn't read it yet but looked good.
Was wondering other than the biggies, Miller's Dark Knight Returns, Watchmen, what are some recommended graphic novels. Not really big on the art work of Watchmen so I'm thinkin of stayin away from that one.

The Killing Joke is pretty good, there's another one that I used to read all the time but the name completely escapes me

Surprised you didn't like the Watchmen, I thought it was fantastic.

Aliens - Nightmare Asylum

Maybe I am just really nostalgic, but goddamn, comics that are completely painted me me all sorts of hard.

Still have the whole set - one of the finest pieces of comic literature I have ever seen.
