How Come Trance isn't big in LA\OC\Whatever?

how come SF can bring out Menno de jong and sean tyas,john askew,tom colontonio etc etc and we cant?

Trance is hurting in LA???

sean tyas just played here last month son, along with Talla 2XLC. Not to mention Johan gielen, scott project, Deadmaus5 allin that month, and that is just at red. I think trance in LA is doing just fine. Ask SF how they feel about getting guys like astrix coming here 3 times per year. Besides, i dont think bookings like Menno de Jong and Sean Tyas are signs of a flourishing trance scene(not that SF doesnt have a great scene for trance) those guys are still establishing themselves as international trance djs.

But lets get real, where in the world is there better exposure to the top trance djs in world then LA??

Has HenryV turned 21 yet? Maybe that's why he hasn't seen some of the Trance DJs LA has gotten.

Oh and I think it's cheaper when some of the DJs get booked in SF.

AGREED!!

Agencies know that they can get top dollar in LA... if one promoter/venue doesn't want to pay an amount, they go right to the next.

we havent got askew or colontonio (sac did get him, but thats not SF) and as someone else mentioned, tyas was in LA late last year

(not that i care bout those guys) but... i would trade place with you speaking of music... SF is full of DEEP HOUSE!!! the only club that have trance djs are 1015 folsom... that's about it! then u get the occasional Ferry, Armin, like once a year in Ruby Skye...

i'd rather be in LA... CHRISTOPHER LAWRENCE AND J00F!!!! Astrix!!! Xerox Illumination!!! X Noize!!! Sub 6!!! Bamboo Forest!!! Massives like EDC!!! Monster Massive!!! only happens in the city of angels... and for the LAKERS of course!!!
