Ticon - 2am [ALBUM]

1. 1987 (8:25)
2. Zebra Beat (6:57)
3. Models On Cocaine (7:40)
4. Weekend Warriors (6:25)
5. Spitfire (8:10)
6. In The Box (7:08)
7. We're Shining (7:41)
8. 2 Am (7:06)
9. Less Is More (8:17)

This album came as a surprise to me. Ticon has been a psy-trance act for a while, on the progressive side recently. But this album is quite the departure, it's very techy and electro house.

I personally really like this album. 1987 is a great trancey opener which is very refreshing and lush, with some nice little 80's synth action and a solid groovey bassline. Models On Cocaine is a pretty nice electro house trak with a lot of energy and some spoken vocoded lines of vocals, I'm sure it would do well in a club. Onto my favorite of the album, In The Box is an in your face electro house track that just gets you from the very beginning. Very full of energy and ready to tear up a club. We're Shining is another in your face electro monster. I know I only highlighted 4 tracks, but the rest of the album is good too, those just stuck out for me. I think there is something for everyone in this album, at least in the electro department. Check it out you may be surprised.

There is already a thread on this. 1987 and Less is More are the only tracks worth a second listen.
