SOME of the world's largest companies have denied any links to Scientology following the appearance of a speech by a church leader on YouTube.
Multinational companies such as Dell, 7/11 and Philips Electronics said they did not distribute materials for the church after its Religious Technology Centre (RTC) chairman said “corporate tie-ins” were helping to spread texts in the YouTube clip.
“The multinationals tend to have Third World image problems,” RTC chairman David Miscavige said in the video, purportedly filmed in late 2006.
Mr Miscavige said that companies such as Coca Cola, Philips and Dell were expanding their own operations around the world, and that church text The Way to Happiness was “now in the hands of more than 70 million people”.
A Dell spokesman told the Los Angeles Times that “it's not our practice to disseminate religious materials of any kind”.
“We've got no affiliation with the Church of Scientology,” the Dell spokesman said.
Representatives from Philips and 7/11 also told the Los Angeles Times that their companies did not distribute religious texts.
Psychiatrists "yanked"
In the same YouTube clip, Mr Miscavige said the church’s Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) was successfully attacking psychiatry and had “yanked” 21 doctors in a four-week period.
“CCHR Central has a tracking board designed to measure ‘collateral damage’ from our campaign roll out,” he said.
“It monitors both incoming complaints of psych abuse and outgoing psych alerts to state and federal prosecutors.
“And while it’s sometimes tricky to determine just whose bomb hit the ammo dump, this much is blazingly clear: while it takes a psych eight years to earn his license, we’ve already yanked 21 in the last four weeks.”

Scientologists are such a bunch of fucks.
I've been to exhibitions for other things like cars etc where they will often post their recruiters. None of them can actually tell you what scientology "is", yet ramble on about how great it is, and administer all these bullshit tests like polygraphs and IQ tests etc, which in reality mean absolutely nothing.
