Exclamation Help with Computer

I have 2 hard drives on my computer. WHen I go to "MY Computer", it lists the first one as C: drive and the other one as a D: and a E: drive. When I go into the control panel and "system", I look at the second drive and it says "current drive letter assignment: E:". WHat is going on here? How can I get rid of this "extra" drive?/

ya, appears to be partitioned

hmm dunno how to do it with windows...i know win2k has "computer management", but doesn't directly list the drives in the system window under control panel

if u can get ur hands on a program like partition magic (current version 7, tho 6 is still quite useful) then it should show quite easily what is going on

I don't think so, how can I check? When I select D: drive and E: drive, they both show me same amount of free space and same amount of total space. And all the files in each drives are the exact same, including folders, etc.
