This is the red band trailer (meaning an R-Rated trailer) for the new Judd Apatow produced comedy The Pineapple Express. Now you're all like "hey highmay, educate me: who's Judd Apatow?" Well, curious reader, Judd Apatow is the man who brought you 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, and Superbad. This is his latest, written by seth rogan and directed by a personal favorite of mine, David Gordon Green (he directed George Washington, All the Real Girls, and Undertow). Why is a film auteur like DGG directing a summer stoner comedy? I don't know, but I'm damn intersted to find out.
