im still trying to figure out how im going to connect my blue dog mixer to my comptuer
and hopefully be able to run traktor with it...
think radio shack will have the plugs i need??

I have a similar setup with traktor. Two 3.5mm to dual RCA cables running from each of the outs on my soundcard and into the inputs on the mixer. Then I run the out of the mixer a set of bookshelf speakers with normal RCA cables.

Well, using that config Traktor will never 'detect' the mixer. You have to go to preferences and set the mixer to EXTERNAL. Then go to your output routing and set each output of your soundcard to decks A and B.

So basically, you're using the mixer as you normally would... but instead of decks feeding the signal, Traktor feeds the signal.
