I will have to give it a listen. I've got a slot on the radio show every week but so i'll be using mixes, other peep's tunes etc.
In addition to this they are looking for someone to host a show in conjunction with the BBC that will be broadcast nationwide.
Seems like a pretty good opportunity. I've got three hours a night, twice a week to fill with electronic music. So i'm still trying to figure whether or not to go with a A,B,C format or just go mad and play tune after tune, wee bit of chat etc etc.
Best advice I could give is to keep it varied - play a bit of it all, new tunes from places like the producers forum, mixes from DJ's you think are quality, your own sets - just keep it interesting, and try not to let it get into a routine. Lots of different styles and sounds.
I had a similar show at university (though obviously on a much smaller scale than the BBC ), and it was loads of fun - the only times it wasn't were when things felt like they were on auto-pilot.
