What the hell.. when it started it totally seemed it was going in a deep/latin/jazzy techno direction.. then it suddenly went completely 180º into a mega-futuristic, hypnotic TRANCE track! Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is trance.

This is really, really weird, creative, experimental. First thing I'd do would be to separate those first 30 seconds into another track, it doesn't fit here.

You seemed to have focused almost exclusively on synths and strings rather than the low-volume percs and bass. That's why I'm not sure it makes much sense to have sudden, big breakdowns like you have here. That sort of thing is usually done to create a shock in the dancefloor, and I can't see picture this having been produced for the dancefloor.

One thing that annoys me is that arpeggiated synth at the end, it sounds a bit too harsh/crisp? Also, while I'm all up for weird, creative structuring of a track, the first 5 minutes or so end up being very forgettable, contrasting with the end which has a cool melody. I don't think that's good. I didn't like neither how the big breakdown goes into a elevator music/tv show background music sort of mood.

The one thing this shows you are really, really good at is creativity. It sounds like you have the potential to come up with something epic and revolutionary, but it's not quite hitting the spot yet. Fruity crashing probably didn't help you at all. :\
