friday night: one fourty, 8 beers, a hip hop show, a club, and a tresspassing fine. it was me and some friends, all magged and having fun. when somebody suggested we go and hop the fence into the construction zone where they're building our new arena. with no better judgement to do otherwise, we all climb up onto a port-a-potty and leap over the fence. except for me, i jump and land on my face, quite comical i'm sure if you had seen it from any other perspective other than my own so yeah, we're running around inside, not doing anything particularily special, just magging, when i see a cruiser driving around the block with a search light going around (incidently, i guess there are some cameras strategically placed in the site to keep jokers like us out..) so i drop the ground all smooth-like, right? thinking, 'ha, pig didn't see me.' heh. so i make my way back to my friends, and we're just walking around, when suddenly, "hey! come here! hey! now!" and we're like, "shit, it's the 5-0." the site is closed in on all sides with an eight foot fence so we really had nowhere to run, so we walked over to the cop and he's like "you guys have 20 seconds to get over the fence, now!" so we hop over and he's all like..actually.. there are a few foggy parts of the night and most of it has to do with the conversation we had with the police. i remember giving them a fake name, thinking i was being smooth (because i had no i.d. on me) only to be found out seconds later when i realised that i had my bank card in my pocket. shit. so now i'm in the back of the cruiser, and my other friend Alex shows up with another cop. he hadn't jumped the fence, but instead had been fucking around over at another construction area just outside the site. he had thought that he was the only one in trouble until he saw that all of us were in shit too, it was a pretty funny sight..
so they slap us with 70 buck fines (Alex with a 130 underage drinking fine) and send us on our way.. brutal but funny shit. so that was my friday..doh.
