I am sorry to clutter the CORe with a personal thread but today was a fanCRAPPINGtastic day for ol' Ygrene.

My wife and I have been wanting to move back to the Midwest for about 4 years. We had all but given up on the idea when a co-worker reached out to me. After two weeks of pure, utter crap everything turned around today when I was offered a position at our corporate headquarters in Benton Harbor, MI.

It's been a long time since I have felt this much sheer joy. And while I have really only met/spoke with a couple of people on this forum IRL, I would consider quite a few of you as 'friends'. So I just wanted to share my excitement.

There was a shooting at my school today. My school lost its accreditation, so the diploma won't be worth shit (not adequate to go to anything but a community college) and I'm probably going to get expelled for truancy. Great day too
