yeah was an amazing night. I can't remember all the TA's I met but the list had to have been like 20 or 30 people long. New TA's kept coming up and saying hi and asking where the other TA's where and it wasn't simply pointing a little group of people out I had to be like well pretty much the entire front of the stage is TA's at many points in the night. Short list of TA's met, Indamix, mecca82, sweetcandy girl, gpc, gypsy girl, electrophile, skizzel, the one with the mouth thing, and about 20 more that I just can't remember because i'm horrible with names.
CL was very good when he came on he really brought the intensity up a notch and was playing some pretty driving stuff. He looked like he was having a great time which always helps make the night better. He had a few rough transitions but overall it was a great set.
J00F man oh man oh man. I just kept looking at other TA's and smiling and shaking my head as J00F ripped the place apart track by track. It didn't stop, from beauty never fades, to the infected mushroom remix as the closing track he was completely on par and playing beautifully. I couldn't stop dancing even though at that point i was really starting to get tired. If anyone can ID that piano sounding track that was probably 2 or 3 songs after beauty never fades you'll get a huge ecookie. That was one of the most beautiful tracks i've ever heard and I need to add it to my collection.
Overall has to be one of the best nights out in a long time as I got to see lots of fellow TA's heard amazing music, the sound system was banging and it wasn't nearly as crowded as it could have been. club entrance was easy. There was even a pretty short wait at the bar to get drinks. All in all a truly unforgettable night that has me asking when J00F is going to play vanguard again.
EDIT: In Addition if anyone recorded the set or knows anyone who did I really really really want a copy of J00F's set.
