A testament to our degrading culture ...

Please dont move this thread to Chill Out section, its way too complicated for their thinking.

A bunch of my friends for weeks have been telling me to watch some "My New Haircut" video on YouTube, saying that it was the funniest thing ever. Well, finally got to see it 10 minutes ago. I must say I grinned at couple lines early in the clip, but overall I was appalled. Its just shit, just when I thought the video was "getting somewhere", it ended. 12.4 million views ... 54000 people favourited it. Unreal. Now there's the Jewish, Asian versions ... That piece of shit video gets this much love? 5 years from now I can imagine a real life episode from Idiocracy as the top movie ever ... For real. That movie is far more real than I ever imagined when I first saw it.

The point of this story goes further than just "humour". Humour is good and all, we all like to laugh at those teen and sex jokes every now and then. But new generation of young people act like that in real life on a regular basis. Of course not a majority of them act like it, but its getting there ...

yeah i hear ya. if it makes you feel any better, douchebaggery has been with us since the dawn of time. it evolves (devolves?) from generation to generation but pretty much keeps the same theme going, you just get more learned and perceptive to it. it'll get worse.

i bet the guy who produced that video feels the exact same way you do. thats prolly why he made it...or he knows a guy just like that.
