I haven't been to a club in Chicago in a few years, but those were some hot spots for me. Karma had some sweet talent playing when I went, and the Lounge was just waaay chill.

I'll be there for the following week of you m8, have a good time. Chi-town is freakin sweet to party in!

I would recommend Crobar. I had a lot of fun there when I was in Chicago for the first time. I think DJ Psycho Bitch was spinning.

Funky Buddah Lounge is mostly hiphop fyi. Crobar sat nights are legendary for its hardhouse nights with Psychobitch!

I find the music scene alot better in Toronto/nyc trance wise...

Thanks everyone.. I will most likely not be attending the Funky Buddah Lounge... I want to get as much of the "techno" scene as I possibly can... Are there any good trance clubs... Nothing against house at all... I love house but I would also like to see some good trance dj's. Bud there will definetly be no hip hop....

Karma closed down years ago.
Crobar is happening on saturday nights. Friday nights been kind of dead. However, when the big djs are in town Crobar is packed. Theb other good thing is there is no dress code.
Other than that, it depends on what your into.
The nicer clubs here in chicago are(these clubs have dress codes):
Zentra - they usually have techno nights thrown by Koncept
Circus
Kustom - they have been having some good djs in town. They mainly play progressive
Then there's Nocturnal, Chronium, and Transit.
The good thing is that most clubs have guestlists so you can get in for free usually before midnight.

i tried to go to Redno5 during the wmc weekend and it was closed so i cannot really vouch for that club.

heard that Karma used to be "THE" trance club until it was closed down.

Kustom.... avoid like the plague! Went there on a sat night and it just had an awful vibe! the dj tried to mix techno and hiphop. i don't really mind hiphop but i really feel that a dj who mixes between 2 genres has no idea what he's doing! Kustom Sux! I'll never go there again!
