Luna/Full track 128kbs/?Tech Trance?

Hey everyone!!

It's been a real long time since I made an original song. I spent about a year of my life making remixes. About a month ago I started this song and I think it turned out pretty good.

I really don't know what genre I was going for. I asked a friend to take a listen a while back when it was about halfway done and he said it sounded like Tech Trance. Tell me what you guys think it is. And of coarse, Feed back is much appreciated.

Hey man

I wouldn't say techtrance ... it would need to be a bit heavier for that. It's sweet and easy on the ears ... the kick and twinkly piano and boring oom-pa bassline (sorry!) make it sound a tad oldskool though. Not necessarily a bad thing! A few tracks lately have brought back that oldskool sound and have been hugely popular for nostalgic purposes. I would however find a new heavier kick and work on that bassline to make it more driving and interesting. The mid and high elements are quite sweet and simple, so they really need that drive underneath to make it danceable. The percs and stabs are quite cool and interesting, so make the low end measure up. I say keep the nostalgic feel but give it a more modern treatment, best of luck with it!
