Hey there dude, I downloaded this a couple of days ago then forgot to comment sorry! d'oh!
I really liked this! Clean sound, the low end is heavy and driving enough while still complementing the airyness in the rest of the track. That main pad is lush and reminded. The only thing I'd want to hear would be maybe a little more variation in the notation of the main melody -- it's sort of just the same three notes repeated over and over with a higher note every few bars ... its a lovely synth so I'd wanna hear more of what it can do!
And of course it'd be nice to have a longer sample to hear the progression of all the elements too, it's under a minute and when the sample fades out I'm left wanting more!

Really great tune. It is one of those songs you hear a sample and listen to it over and over again. Great pad, great melody, great bass. Great sample. Looking forward to hearing the final result.

Hi. I like this. Cool sounds and nice melody.
The bass seems a little weak though. Try giving it some stereo width.
Copy your bass synth twice, detune and pan one of them hard right and detune and pan the other hard left.
Filter out the low bass frequencies of both copies, keep the third centered and filter out all high frequencies.
Now you have a wide stereo bass that does not cause phase problems in the sub frequencies.
Stereo basslines aren't bad like some like to think, you just have to be careful and do it a bit differently.

Thank you for your replies i should have a longer version up soon.
Eldritch: yes i will try to work on the stereo image of my bass a lil bit. it is two sounds layered so i will work with the stereo of the top layer.
