just wondering how many of you have fallen for the "HEY CHECK OUT THIS RADICAL LINK: www.internet.com , i know it will change your life" virus.

it's ok if you did.
i have not, and the only ones i know that have are stupid...but there's always exceptions.

I've had to block about 5 people on msn because their msn was possessed and would constantly send me virus links.

sometimes what it does is :- person comes online sends u the file and goes offline (usually right after you sign in)


or


you see them online and their first msg is like hey check my new pics.


In both cases if you're not sure ask the person who the msg came from if they actually sent you something.....If they dont reply then its a virus and if they do you would know for sure if it is or NO.

Some of the newer ones are not quite viruses... they run remotely and only require a password change to be stopped.

(This requires you having handed over your login info at some point... which a surprising amount of people do when presented with fake "block checker" sites)

i get continuesly a message from a girl's msn.. check my new pics from myspace...

Of all the people I have on MSN, I speak English with only one.
Whenever someone sends me something in English, usually followed by a .rar file, I know it's a virus.
As a matter of fact, whenever someone sends me any link, I ask first, then click.

I used to get 'em from AIM a while ago, but I've never had one since switching to my MacBook. That can't have anything to do with it... can it?
