Clinton's supporters: We matter more than the general public!

quote:
Pelosi's office responds to Clinton supporters

Brendan Daly, a spokesman for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), responded late Wednesday night to a letter by supporters of New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton urging his boss to stop making comments about the superdelegates respecting the will of Democratic primary voters and caucus-goers:

“Speaker Pelosi is confident that superdelegates will choose between Sens. Clinton or Obama — our two strong candidates — before the convention in August," Daly said. "That choice will be based on many considerations, including respecting the decisions of millions of Americans who have voted in primaries and participated in caucuses. The speaker believes it would do great harm to the Democratic Party if superdelegates are perceived to overturn the will of the voters. This has been her position throughout this primary season, regardless of who was ahead at any particular point in delegates or votes.”

The Clinton supporters had asked Pelosi, who remains neutral in the presidential contest, to refrain from making comments that could influence undecided superdelegates to back the candidate with the most votes — who, at this point, happens to be the New York senator's rival, Illinois Sen. Barack Obama. But Daly's comments suggest the speaker will not be backing off her stance anytime soon.

Is this not just completely ridiculous? I guess its no surprise that Clinton's supporters feel as privileged as she as if they're entitled to the Presidency. Bunch of Reagan Democrats that want something different but get queasy with all this talk about "change."

I cannot stand Hill's attitude..
she is going to drive a nail in the DEM Party and she does not give a fuck about nothing but her own.... Yes I think its about time for a woman to run this country but not THIS one. Any woman that would stand by and allow her man to do what Bill did to her, has No "balls" to run this country........

thats my 2 cents....

OBAMA!!!!!!!!

since everyone points out that Obama wins in the red states and could possibly take one in the election, which traditionally red state do you people think obama can steal from the republicans? which blue state could he possibly lose?

I think he may lose NJ, PA, and FL (although i wouldn't call FL a democratic state). But he could pick up some southern states, maybe LA, MS, or GA, as well as CO.

The Election, General Election, will be a turning point in this Nation's History.....
I never thought in my 35 years of living here on this Planet, that a man of color could be on the verge of becoming the president of a country that used Slavery, Rape, Murder and had the gall to call it Manifest Destiny to advance a few people.
Fuck man, Florida just apologized for slavery yesterday!!! WTF??? Could America finally be waking up to the BS that has controlled this Nation for the past 30 years?? THe Baby Boomers fucked this country up!!! and now its time for Generation X to take it back!!

///forgive me, on my 2nd bottle of Red, a nice Chianti and I am making some vegetarian chillie as well
