The first time i heard Umek play was at a rave on the border of France and Spain, near San Sebastian. It was an old warehouse, big stereo, no decorations and all round madness.

He started playing at 3 am and he started playing at 135bpm-140bpm. his transitions were clean, sometimes quick, but he had the crowd jumping until 9:00 A.M when we decided to part.

(the view from the train during our way back was unbelievable too).
