(I've been thinking though...the interactive demo may not be reflective of the actual VST instrument...it'd be odd though, I would've thought they'd try to put it in it's best light, really get that sound happening when the resonance is at full and you bring the filter cutoff down really low...)
A number of the guys on these forums have 303s....Roland did make around 80,000 of these things, I think...they're a hassle to use compared with modern synths, but it's a nice little lightweight synth you can take out of the studio and program patterns into...it's fun just having the headphones on, getting a pattern running and having fun with the knobs.
They're very expensive for what they do though. For the same money you can get a much, much more versatile synth. But if you already have a number of synths and still have money to play with, they're good fun.
