The coolest shirt i have ever seen!

Last year at the smirnoff festival @ the guvernment, me and my friend saw a guy wearing the coolest shirt ever. It was plane black, but in the middle, there was an lcd type screen, or electronic patch swen onto it which displayed volume bars that matched the actual volume of what was being listened to inside the club. Every time the bass of a beat came,it went up and down, it was like i was looking at winamp on a t-shirt.

Does anyone know where i can get this shirt? I have been dying to find it ever since. Stupid me didnt ask wear he got it

Anything even close to it will do too.

That is the trippiest shirt ever! EVER!

But sorry, I can't help you, cuz I have no idea where you can get one of those... if I knew, I'd have one of them already!

That shirt is from Cyber Dog- a store with locations in London, Ibiza & Amsterdam.
http://www.cyberdog.net/
Go to the virtual store section, & it's listed under "light tee's".
I have something similar from another company, whose light disc options I like better (I have a circular pattern, & a UFO ship pattern), & was cheaper than Cyber Dog's version. I found a link for them too: http://www.lightattack.de

WOW! That is such a cool t-shirt idea!!

*mind boggling*!

I wonder, though, what the durability is like on those. Could they survive several parties' worth of dancing? It must also be quite annoying carrying that battery pack around, unless it's small.

Does anyone know the full details of this kind of shirt? How it works, what's the thickness of the changing pattern (is it a thin screen or a thick sort of mat that goes over your chest)? Etc., etc.

Really quite interesting. Never knew these kinds of shirts existed.

My Light Attack shirt comes with a little pouch on the inside for the battery pack- it takes 4- AA batteries. It has an on/off switch, & a button that can alternate 4 different patterns, with a hi or lo speed for each. There is a flat cord that runs from the battery pack to the light disc (which is a flat piece of plastic). The disc can unplug from it. There is a small hole in the shirt, where the cord & the disc make the connectoin thru, & the disc velcro's onto the shirt.

Thanks for the details! I can imagine the structure now.

As for the changing light pattern itself - is it dependant on outside factors, not based on a circuit? Specifically sound. I wonder how that works, if there's some sort of chemical change or if it's similar to one of those materials that light up once exposed to light, except in a different sense - they light up once exposed to sound? That is a very very weird and very very cool phenomenon.

The light disc similar to Trancewave's icon has a battery pack that is sensitive to sound. All the others have set patterns in their programs.

Thanks again, tatgirl!

Usually I'm not this bothersome about one particular subject (well...okay, maybe not - I can get quite involved at times...) but this t-shirt design really got me interested!

If anyone knows of a website with circuit diagrams or anything, let me know!
I'd be interesting in making one of these things
Thanks!
