The other day my friend Allison and I were discussing some rules of thumb to go by when drinking. These are the ones that I've come up with.
You should try and keep 12 hours in between drinking. If the bar at the club closes at 4, and it's 4 in the afternoon the next day, it's time for cocktails.
You should never drink in the morning unless you're still awake from the night before. If you've gone to sleep and woken up and then start drinking, that's a no no.
The exception to this rule is if your drink contains some sort of fruit juice, like a mimosa or a bloody mary. Fruit juice is for breakfast and therefore it's ok.
Fuck rules. I do what I want, when I want, how I want. How you like me now?
Just kidding, but seriously... rules?

oh no no, brunch is totally acceptable. only things like waking up at 6AM for work and having a 6 pack are a no no.
I agree, brunch drinks are essential to a successful day.
