Listening to a recent set of theres (Cocoon Morphs Tokyo 4-4-08) and I must see them live, great sound they have. What do you guys think?

I think they did a great job remixing Horizon and Play Pig, i also think the word Techno is tossed around too much.

They are ok... i enjoy their stuff now, but i enjoyed their productions before when they were a bit more proggy.

they have been picking it up lately although i wasn't too impressed with a few of their releases of late last year. Sly Detector is still my favorite.

They just release so much stuff that is bland and uninteresting that the few they make that turn out to be gold have become the exception and not the rule.

And I've never understood the appeal "Sly Detector" - loads of people seem to love it, but once I bought it and heard it in full I was bored to tears.

I have the Same Kind of Appeal to Sly Detector as I do to their remix of Horizon. Not too much going on in the song I guess but the Climax is great. Now looking back I guess its not the greatest production but it's one of those songs I simply enjoy for the hell of it. I will say though that I have been using that excuse on a lot of their latests releases. Even though their remix for Uncle and Evil and Beautiful Burnout is nothing special production wise I still enjoy them.

Imo, their stuff has always been decent. Nothing amazing but it is still enjoyable.

also '88' and 'Touch' are my favorites by them

yeah theyve got some lesser stuff which is bland but they've got ability. For example I found their recent remix of Underworld to be extremely boring. (Beautiful Burnout, not Play Pig)
