HELP: Video codec needed
Ok, I just downloaded a video but when I tried to play it on Windows Media Player it said that the format is not supported. I have DivX installed so it's not that codec I need...does anybody have any other popular codecs that might work? It's labeled as a .avi file.
Right click on the file / Properties / Information
The codec name is often stated there!
good luck!

Divx 5 created a new codec that is required for playing divx 5 codecs. You need to use the divx 5 player or a crack divx 5 codec. Either that, or your file just suck!
