Yesterday I was watching this film 'Taboo' the first porn film that ever made it to mainstream and was a bestseller.., and in that film which was shot in 1980s end.. during the foreplay and climax of sexual scenes EDM was played.. now in 1980s no publically substantially EDM was played.. I wonder if porn films playinf EDM during sex scenes gave birth to EDM.

First of all, i guess that you mean electronic music and not EDM, since i doubt that Taboo had Juan Atkins on the soundtrack. As far as i know first porn films were done during the 70s not the 80s. I have to say that one of the first electronic musicians ever, Klaus Schulze, used to make some spacey electronic soundtracks for some 70s porn-films such as "Body Love". I doubt that these films have contributed to the birth of EDM though. EDM birth was just a linear progression from obscure 70s electronic/ambient/space music and prog/kraut-rock to more mainstream 80s new-wave to the decision of endlessly looping 70s and 80s stuff in Chicago and Detroit.
