[MEL] Petter (SWE) - Saturday April 19th - Pretty Simple; Ffour Saturdays
Turning 21 not long after his inaugural visit to Melbourne back in 2006, Petter Nordvist has achieved more than his age might suggest. While it was releases such as 'These Days' on Holland's Deep Records, his 'Six Songs EP' or his huge remix of The MFA's 'The Difference It Makes' (both on James Holden's Border Community) that won him fans from all corners of the globe, it was last year's 'Some Polophony' that cemented Petter's star on dancefloors across the globe.
With diverse musical infulences, and a sound fusing together tech house, progressive, techno, dub, acid , breaks and ambient, Petter's music has found fans from a diverse range of DJ's ranging from Laurent Garnier, to Phil K, to Josh Wink, to Trevor Jackson, The Hacker & Sasha.
His set at Private Function vs. Darkbeat was talked about for some time after, and while it's taken a little longer than expected, Petter is back down-under, bringing his unique sound to Pretty Simple on Saturday April 19th.
Supporting Petter will be Dave Pham, Mike Callander, Dean Millson & Stuart Mckeown.
