I'd be really interested to hear a Waldorf Pulse. A couple went through eBay recently, but went out of my price range. I have a couple of Waldorf synths already, the Pulse intrigues me. I think it'd be a decent pickup.
Andromedas also - at some point I'll grab one of these as well, as long as the price is right. I think an Andromeda would add a completely new texture to my palette.

if you want THE analog sound, get a moog.
I agree to some extent, but the Andromeda sounds imo nothing less "analog" than any other analog synth - it just doesn't sound as raw as an old prophet, or quite as fat as a moog. Bass isn't the andromeda's strong card, but it's definitely possible to make some earth-shaking basses with it. I mean, it's 16 voice polyphony - it's quite possibly the most diverse analog synth ever made - But if you're after a synth mainly for bass, the moogs are definitely "better".

Have you checked out the Dave Smith synths? The Prophet 08 looks promising. Or, if you're looking for a mono synth, the Evolver (digital/analog hybrid) can be had for dirt cheap and makes some pretty sick basses.
i produce house music and also have a few analog synths. My favorite for bass are the moog voyager and waldorf pulse. I had an andromeda and sold it as i didn't like it. For polyphonic stuff i use a prohpet 08 keyboard. The andromeda was hard to get anything amazing out of, whilst the moog and prohet sound brialliant all the time.
