nine inch nails ghosts

well, i got this when it was released and haven't seen a post about it here.

lots of droney tracks, dark ambience, glitchy clicks and distant atmospheres.

this is exactly how trent should be producing music. the fact that there wasn't much planning involved and no where near as much touch up work in the pro-tools sessions as his official albums is what makes it pretty much genius.

you can get some of the tracks for free from the NIN website or you can pay, i think it was 10$ (which i did) and you'll get all 36 tracks, some awesome looking wallpaper and pdf inserts.

For me his vocals are the weakest part of anything he does.

His production is lovely, though, so I'm glad when he doesn't insist on singing.

Ghosts looks to be worth checking out.

Downloaded the free part; pretty good stuff. I wish he would make more of this sort of thing.

This is awesome! Great industrial NIN sound. This sounds like something that might play in the background of a fight scene in 300.
