Digweed: Never better or just losing it?

After reading a bunch of reviews over the past year, and listening to sets myself, it seems as if the community is divided on him.

Some say that he is just 'trying to be underground', while I think he IS being underground. Not that it really matters, I just think he is trying to push his sound, and house into a new direction, a fresh direction.

So what do you say?

PS - I wanted to make a poll, but it wont let me

1) Never better
2) Losing it
3) Same as ever - great!
4) Same as ever - I don't get it

Its seems as if most of NYTA loves Digweed (there is a HUGE crew goin for Digweed and MSTRKRFT (sp?) this weekend at PACHA). I have seen him twice in toronto, not in nyc, and he has bored me to tears.

Diggers is primo.

He can make you "work for it" - but if you do you're rarely disappointed.

The man's technical skill and ability to program are unparalleled and at such a high level that yes - it can blow over your head if you're not watching for it.

This is a bad comparison (cheesy) but it's like upper-echelon art. Sometimes you have to put an effort in to really understand it ("get it").
