So i have finally saved up enough money for serato, but i was wondering if I should get it. Not like should i buy it or not, but are there going to be newer versions coming out soon that I should wait for instead or something? I just dont want to buy it and then a month later a new product comes out that is better.

People have been recently migrating to Traktor Scratch as its proven to be just as reliable but has much more fetaures like 4 deck support and a firewire audio interface and if youre a college student or know one.. you can get a discount

Yeah man, look at the features of all the DVS's out there (Serato, Torq, Traktor, etc.) and see what you like. They each have their pros and cons.

Okay iv hurd the Album and lemmi tell you guyz.... Tiesto is gono make it back to the top again with these hits. The thing about it is that hes trying 2 bring a new style tho just like he did with Just be and it worked. they songs areunt TOO HIGHT up. but the vocals acaully are the best thing in 2007. The Track Carpe Noctum is like traffic but it hink he could of prefected the shit ouf it. but generalllyy its an amazing album...oh and Ten Seconds Before Sunrise is like Forever today TIMES 12

traktor scratch sound card doesn't have firewire, at least according to native instruments.
I've played with Serato and its a cool program. One thing I will say though, it can be annoying to have to set up in a live environment. I always get very annoyed when the dj after me has to hook all his gear up while I'm getting into the meat of my set.
