Ah I see where this track is going much more now!
I still don't like that synth you use for the melody stab in the buildup i'm afraid though. It needs to be widened, I say play with some panning or stereo imaging and filter out some of the mid range (that would help, but I have a feeling that the three notes you're using just might not go great together..) Some more reverb on it might do some good too, those echoes are a little empty-sounding. This becomes really obvious at the very start of the breakdown when this synth is the only thing playing. It sounds a bit stark and lonely, there definitely needs to be some other soft sounds and FX going on there to fill the void. But I gather you've only just started on the breakdown so you'll fill it up as you progress I'm sure.
Love the new melody and saw synth that the breakdown brings in though! The best part of the track is when it kicks back in and this sawtooth is playing alone without that buildup synth. Its a breath of melodic fresh air and the uplifting factor finally kicks in. I really think you should bring a little essence of this melody into the buildup too, without giving too much of it away too early, but the buildup sounds too generic like it could be from any track - I reckon give your audience a little hint of the greatness to come!
