when you go to bounce to audio make sure you click "Realtime" instead of "off-line"

Yes i'm connected by USB.

Basically i create at external midi track and then assign it to the virus midi, record the notes and then that is when i try to bounce them as a wave file.....this is where it doesnt record anything for me....
