No vsts in reason ftl =o(
I didn't listen to your samples, but I've a suggestion nonetheless. Having a very present and clear higher frequency part in combination with a deep low frequency part is necessary to make a bassline feel up front, full, resonant, and present. Very good for things like electro house. How this is accomplished is flexible. The method I like doing:
With you existing basslines, identify their high-end frequency portion that gives it identity and audibility. EQ out all of what's below that, remove all the bass part of the bass.(hehe)
Now try making a second bass synth that follows the first, but is programmed specifically for deep low end only, like sine waves or whatnot, and remove the high end component of this synth. If the two parts' attacks are matched closely enough, hopefully it'll sound like the same synth.
This way you can treat the two synths independently, one part specially eq'd and processed for low end resonance, in mono. The other upper register part can be specialized for audibility and interest. You might try stereo effects like flanging chorus or reverb for varied results, and its safe since it's not affecting the low end.
